Happy Monday! Another week begins and well, as much as Monday’s suck, I’m thankful I have a job to get to. Although today definitely did not start on the right foot with my special keyboard at work not working properly and now finding out that a lot of my favorite blogs to read are being blocked because Blogspot is being blocked… ARGH!!! But anyway, today’s post is something lighter, especially after Friday’s 9-11 post…
Thanks so much to the lovely Melissa over at Nolan Writes for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger Award! Melissa and I connected over Twitter after finding out she’s a newbie fellow Singapore blogger originally hailing over from Ireland. Go do check out her blog as you’ll see a different part of Singapore – she’s still in the exploring phase and she’s got lovely pictures to boot!
The Sunshine Blogger Award is a way for bloggers to get to know each other and also get other bloggers to connect with each other.

1: Who are your favourite published authors? I have been reading a few authors religiously – John Grisham, Patricia Cornwell, Scott F. Fitzgerald and Jane Austen
2: What did you want to grow up to accomplish in your life? I wanted to live a life of adventure and live a life my parents would be proud of. I think I’ve accomplished that…!
3: What are your favorite movies? My all time favorite is Leon and The Usual Suspects.
4: What’s your favorite food? Brazilian food and Italian
5: What is your favorite temperature? Hmm, I do really like the heat but I do prefer dry heat. But I also love a cooler temperature, maybe like 65 degrees would be nice!
6: Introvert or Extrovert? I’m an extroverted introvert. Definitely. I am outgoing but also shy. It all depends on my mood and my environment.
7: What are your favorite past times? I love to dance, I think some of you know this already… But there is also nothing better than cuddling up with a good book.
8: What about yourself would you change if you could? Can I be taller? Just 2 or 3 inches would be cool!
9: Where is your favorite place in the world that you have ever visited and why? Zanzibar! You can read up my posts here and here. And the Masai Mara, but I haven’t blogged about it – yet!
10: Why do you blog? Originally I started to connect with other military spouses, but now it’s become so much more…! Plus it allows me to effectively channel my energy into something somewhat productive other than just going out every night!
11: Who are your favorite musicians or bands? I currently am playing the latest Mumford & Sons album on repeat. And the latest Florence & the Machine. But The Roots and the Pharcyde are also my favorites.
