Why do YOU do it?

Everyone asks, “how do you do it?”.  Everyone says, “I couldn’t do it.  That’s crazy!”  And they’re right.  It is.

But if the tables were reversed, I think you would do it too.  After all, we all need a little crazy in our lives, no?

I can live without you, because that is what I have been doing until I met you.  But now that you’re in it,  I don’t want to not have you in my life.  I want you there in one shape or another.  I choose you.  I choose to wait for you and for our future together because something inside me tells me, This is it…This is going to be one hell of a ride!

I know you will catch me when I fall.  I know you will celebrate with me in any future success.  I know that even when times are tough, you will still love me and fight for me.  I know you will love me for who I am; imperfections and faults and all.  But most importantly, I know you have chosen me.

Together we decided to walk down this path, not without a lot of sacrifice, a lot of patience and a massive leap of faith.  But we are doing it together.  And that is all that truly matters.  We can both admit it has not been easy, but we are succeeding against the odds.

Some people are worth waiting for.  And you are worth fighting for.  That is why I do it.
